Have you ever wondered why Michigan salts the roads in the winter, or why Coca-Cola can clean the grime off a penny? Well chemistry can answer those questions and so many more!!!
At the De La Salle Collegiate Chemistry Camp, students will be given the opportunity for a safe hands-on approach to the world of chemistry. Students will carry out experiments, watch demos and conduct activities that will help them to gain a better understanding of the chemicals in their own house and beyond. The camp is run by Mr. Robert Black, DLS Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate teacher.
The camp will be conducted at a level that students from 5-9th grade will safely learn the wonders of chemistry that happens every day around them.
REMINDER: All campers must turn in a signed RELEASE AND LIABILITY FORM before the start of camp.
